JD Decoder is a free, independently-run tool that analyzes job description text using fixed keyword and pattern-matching rules. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

No professional advice

JD Decoder does not provide legal, career, recruiting, HR, or financial advice. Its output — including skill extraction, must-have/nice-to-have classification, the candidate-match score, and any "red flags" — reflects only what fixed patterns matched in the text you provided. It has no understanding of an employer's actual intent, company culture, or the broader context of a role, and it will sometimes miss things or flag things that aren't actually problems. Always use your own judgment, verify anything important with the employer directly, and consult a qualified professional for legal or career decisions.
